Scroll down for information about the Tiny Retreat in Spanish on May 11! We often think we receive graces and are divinely illuminated by means of brilliant candles. But from whence comes their light? From prayers, perhaps, of some humble, hidden soul, whose inward shining is not apparent to human eyes. You are invited to a “Tiny Retreat” in English featuring the wisdom of St. Thérèse of Lisieux, Doctor of the Church, on Saturday, April 27, from 8:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. in Oldershaw Hall on the St. Nicholas Campus. After a slideshow on St. Thérèse presented by Cynthia Judge, we will use the Little Flower’s insights to inspire our practice of music meditation, Lectio Divina (no experience needed), guided meditation, and faith sharing. All are welcome. Donations to cover breakfast expenses are appreciated. To sign up, contact Sue Garthwaite at smgart@comcast.net by April 24. The soul is in God and God is in the soul.
