The RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is a process for those considering becoming Catholic. It is a process, not a program or a class. We begin in a Period of Inquiry: a time for you to bring your questions and “come and see” how we follow Christ.
Specifically, it is for:
The process is designed to assist those interested in Catholicism to learn about our faith, our tradition, and our celebrations. Each person is invited to reflect on his/her own relationship with God, with the local faith community and the universal Church. We journey through this process together, assisting each other in our response to God’s call. If you or someone you know might be interested in participating in the RCIA, please contact Karie Ferrell, Director of Lifelong Faith Formation, kferrell@archchicago.org. |
