The St. Vincent de Paul conference at St. John XXIII Parish is a Catholic lay organization of volunteers serving our neighbors living in Central and South Evanston needing emergency financial or food assistance. We have a pantry of canned, packaged, and frozen meat that is stocked by financial donations and periodic food drives. Parishioner generosity supports the financial and food assistance we provide.
Anyone living in Central and South Evanston needing our assistance is invited to call our voicemail line at 847.868.3796. Our voicemail line also can be reached by calling the parish office at 847.864.1185 and asking for “St. Vincent DePaul.” Volunteers closely monitor the hotline for voicemail messages and call back as soon as possible. Please consider contributing to our ministry in helping those in need in our community. Contributions can be made by contacting the parish office or using Pushpay, church envelopes, or collection boxes in the churches on St. Mary and St Nicholas campuses. Anyone interested in learning more about our ministry and possibly joining our group should email Dan at [email protected]. |
