This past weekend, the St. John XXIII Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) hosted listening sessions after all Masses. As part of the pastoral planning effort, these listening sessions were designed to gather the thoughts of parishioners on the parish vision statement, challenges within the parish, and possible priorities for our new, unified St. John XXIII Parish. At the sessions, parishioners were invited to reflect on and discuss the following four questions:
Missed one of the PPC listening sessions? Not a problem! If you are involved in a ministry at St. John XXIII, check in with your ministry leader to see if there is an upcoming listening session for that ministry. Additionally, the PPC created an online survey where all parishioners will have the chance to give their responses to the same four questions above. The survey was live through December 3. These listening sessions were truly a powerful experience (View the photo album from the weekend's sessions here). They brought the parish together in conversation, in community, and in hope. May we pray that the work of this parish's hands bears fruit as we continue through the pastoral planning process. If you have questions about the pastoral planning process, see the Pastoral Plan FAQs. Comments are closed.
