Volunteers are needed for the following IAE programsThe Overnight Shelter - open nightly from 9p.m. to 6:45 a.m. and requires volunteers to assist in setting up and greeting guests every evening and with cleaning up and escorting guests out every morning. Evening volunteers work from 8:30 to 10 p.m. and morning volunteers work from 6 to 7 a.m. All volunteers work under the supervision of IAE’s Overnight Shelter staff. The Hospitality Center for the Homeless - Greet clients and lead them to our renovated space, where staff provides access to computers, food, and other resources. Located inside St. Mark’s Episcopal Church at1509 Ridge Avenue. To sign-up for either of these email Sue Murphy Berube at [email protected] Sack Breakfasts for Winter Weekend Morning Shelters - Volunteers provide 40 sack breakfast meals for either the Saturday shelter at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 1509 Ridge Ave. in Evanston, or the Sunday shelter at Hilda’s Place, 1458 Chicago Ave. in Evanston, from Dec. 6 and - March 29.
